Proverbs 31:25-28
“Strength and dignity are her clothing and she laughs at the time to come.
She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.

She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.”
This verse describes a virtuous woman, a woman of God and the type of Christian woman that one could aspire to resemble.
The bible clearly dictates that we are to honour our mother and father.
With Mother’s Day approaching, it is a wonderful opportunity to honor the women who have loved and cared for us.
The verse considers righteousness as an attribute of a good mother, as well as a reminder to show love, appreciation and compassion to the motherly figures we surround ourselves with.
