From the Word: By grace, through faith

For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Corinthians 12:9-10

9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties.

For when I am weak, then I am strong.

While life is not without problems or difficulties, and although nobody has immunity from suffering, it always comes with divine purpose.

God will never put you in situations that you cannot pull yourself out of.

These verses remind us that the grace of God is sufficient to carry us through whatever impediments may strike us, so long as we keep the faith.
