A fire broke out in the outside braai area at the Hibberdene branch of Michael Frey’s Fresh Meat on Saturday, June 25.
What could have been a disastrous incident turned out to, once again, prove what an amazing community the South Coast is.
Neighbours, security forces, car-guards and passers-by all rallied together to assist without thinking twice.
I wish to place on record my sincere appreciation to Jeff Andrews and Revell Saint from Kembali Farms, Edward Jarmin, Ibrahim Shaik, Carmelo Ferrante from Gladiator Security, all our neighbours, Mthobisi Duma, Panda Gable Mswazi, Professor Kwenzokuhle Nzimande, Goodenough Shandu, plus the fire department and all others who assisted in bringing our fire under control so quickly.
