BRONWYN TANNER: Tuning In – Calling all aspiring amateur performers

Community news and events for the mid-South Coast area.

South Africa celebrated National Police Day on January 27. To all the dedicated and committed officers who give up their comforts and pleasures to protect us – we thank you.

It was mentioned on one of the community groups that if everyone who went to the beach took a plastic bag and collected all the plastic, fishing line and removed their own rubbish, the beaches would be cleaner and safer for the wildlife and ourselves. It’s a good habit to teach our children.

UMPAC 2024 is recruiting. This is for all aspiring amateur actors, singers, dancers, storytellers, comedians and musicians – backstage, costume and technical crew. Contact Lesley Fraser via WhatsApp on 082 7054857 for more info or to indicate interest.
