OPINION: Tree felling concerns Tweni resident

"We have had another recent occurrence opposite the David Morgan Homes complex at no. 23 OFS."

You’ll recall sometime earlier this year, there was an article about indigenous trees felled in Old St Faiths (OFS), and Alex Skene became involved with the Department of Environmental Affairs.

We have had another recent occurrence opposite the David Morgan Homes complex at no. 23 OFS.

The bamboo close to the road was cut down, which I can understand; however, several large indigenous trees were also felled, and, quite obviously, to improve the view of the river and country club.

Tweni is known for its abundant trees and vegetation, seems anyone does what they like without repercussions.
