OPINION: Ruan’s family says thanks

He is doing well, but still has a long way ahead to recover.

We thank each and everyone at Hibiscus Hospital for their care and love, and how they have stood by our son, Ruan Kleynhans, after he sustained critical injuries in a vehicle accident on August 6.

Our son’s life was saved by God and Hibiscus Hospital staff and we cannot say thank you enough. Special thanks to the theatre, ICU, high care and surgical ward staff for taking care of Ruan, as well as Dr Yandisa Nxakama (neurosurgeon), Dr Nomana Faku (anaesthetist) and Dr Stan Onukikwe (casualty medical officer). You all have treated our son as if he was one of your family members. May God bless all of you.

We also thank the Herald, everyone who had us in their prayers, and those who made donations to help our son. Ruan is doing well, but still has a long way ahead to recover.

May God bless each and everyone.
