• The Hope Fundraising Festival, brought to the South Coast by District 49 Child & Youth Care Centre, supported by Lightness Productions, will light up the Blue Marlin All Inclusive Seascape in Scottburgh on October 4. Under the banner ‘We care through love and protection’ this community celebration seeks to rally families, businesses and volunteers for an afternoon of sport, music and joyful giving, all to secure vital funds for children who have endured abuse, neglect, or abandonment.

• Botha House Collective is on Sunday, October 5. Enjoy vendors’ delicious treats or meals. Bring a picnic blanket. No pets allowed.
