Scottburgh’s TC Robertson Nature Reserve and Radiant Family Church are happy to announce that there will be carols by candlelight this year.

Let the timeless beauty of Christmas carols fill your heart and bring the joy of Christmas to life. This will take place at the nature reserve on December 16. Gates open at 16:00, and the event will be held from 18:00 until 20:00. Don’t forget to bring a chair or blanket. Boerewors rolls and cold drinks will be on sale.

Entry is R20 (includes candle), and proceeds will be donated to the church. To find out more, contact Gerda on 082 6227699.

Congratulations to Jennifer-Jayne Miller. She received her KZN cap at the Dolphins Schools’ Capping Ceremony at Kingsmead last Friday. She has been selected to represent Dolphins U13 girls at regionals in Gauteng at the end of November.

Daina Lee Osborn at the Spartan Baby Badass Ultra. Athletes completed 100km over 24 hours. They ran a 4.167km lap every hour, on the hour for 24 hours. Locals Lindsay Albers and Brett Lowe also completed the 100km; Tyron Seech and Garth Pellew completed the event as a team, each doing 50km. It was hosted at Treverton in Mooi River.
