Hip-hop artist, Falakhe Mbanjwa, better-known as Faxin Rsa hopes to one day own a recording label, to help aspiring artists to develop their skills and knowledge.
The Gamalakhe-born musician said he is currently working on an extended play (EP) project titled, Phupho lami.
Mbanjwa said the project is inspired by the things he sees and experiences on a daily basis which he turns into music that a lot of people can relate to.
He explained that his passion for Hip-hop and music, in general, began in 2007.
“In 2014, after completing my matric, I took a gap year which was when I met F.O WiseBeats who is a producer. He and I worked on a couple of songs and in that same year I released two songs, and the feedback was positive,” said Mbanjwa.
He added that he specifically chose Hip-hop music because it allows him to express his thoughts, tell stories, motivate, educate, encourage and entertain.
Mbanjwa said in his latest offering, a single titled ‘Dark Corner’, he featured F.O WiseBeats. He added that Dark Corner was from his upcoming project, Phupho Lami.
The Hip-hop head said he dreams of one day working with local rapper, Talente Sithole. “I would like to work with Talente because his music inspires me and he has been in the game for a while now,” said Mbanjwa.
He added that his music is available on all music platforms for streaming and purchase, and that the public can also follow him on social media: Faxin Rsa.
