Originally from Gamalakhe, Dingindlela said she dreamt of presenting a show since she was a child.
“Even my sisters would remember, back as a child – you would find me talking to myself at home acting out as a presenter. I just loved the sound of my voice. I actually did not study TV presenting. I am presently still in college where I am studying towards a wholesale and retail qualification,” she said, adding that studying media is also something that is on her mind.
The presenter said she is very much into music, adding that she knows a lot about music and the entertainment industry. She added that she one day dreams of presenting an entertainment and lifestyle show.
Speaking of how she bagged The Next Billionaire gig, Dingindlela said a friend referred her to one of the producers of the show and she was called in for auditions.
“It was very scary, I must say but it was an amazing experience. Three days after I auditioned, I received a call confirming that I got the gig. I could not believe it at first because out of all the people that auditioned, I was picked and that was crazy,” she said.
Also, Dingindlela said she has always wanted to be part of the MTV Base next presenter auditions, which is why she one day hopes to present a music show on MTV Base.
She added that her career goals include going big and doing better.
“Right now, uMlando Creatives has given me a chance to present a very big show which has been airing since 2016. uMlando Creatives is a media house focused on producing local content and I am very excited to be part of the team. I am also excited to announce that I will be the red carpet host for the third annual Next Billionaire awards,” she said.
