Fun family outing at Mbango Big Spring Fête

The event will start at the Mbango Valley Association at 9am and end at 1pm.

The Mbango Valley Association requests the public to join them for a fun-filled, home-baked Mbango Big Spring Fête in Port Shepstone on Saturday, September 3.

The fête will include fresh baked goods, delicious puddings, pancakes, cakes, bubble waffles, boerie rolls, bacon and egg rolls, curry and rice, pizza slices, kids fun, hand-knitted items, art, books, music, bagpipes, dog show, cash bar, jumping castle, dancing and so much more.

The event will start at the Mbango Valley Association at 9am and end at 1pm.

Entrance to the event is free for all.

The Mbango Valley Association is urging the public to bring family and friends for the outing.

“We have some really great prizes from our amazing sponsors, all you have to do is buy a raffle ticket (R20 each) to see if your name is drawn at 12pm. With some belly dancing and line dancing, croquet and bowls to keep you entertained. For the kiddies, we have a jumping castle and games. The bar will be open from 10am and the rugby will be on in the lounge (South Africa against Australia). Come along and support local vendors at this fundraising event,” said the association.

It added that the bagpipes band will open the market at 9.15am, followed by a dog show at 9.45am, saying that a security demo will be at 10.30am.

Line dancing will start at 11am followed by fusion belly dancing at 11.30am and the big raffle draw at 12pm.
