Woman arrested for cellphone fraud
Customers were debited for cellphones they didn't buy.

A woman (35) employed at a cellphone outlet in Port Shepstone was arrested on October 11 for fraud.
According to Saps, it is alleged that the woman took out a number of cellphone contracts using client information.
The approximate fraud is around R180 000.
It is believed that customers were debited for cellphones they didn’t buy.
The woman appeared in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s court on Monday last week, with the case being postponed for further investigation.
She remains in police custody awaiting a formal bail hearing.
