Seniors gather for year-end celebration in Margate

Gumbi said this at the year-end celebration function of Masisizane Senior Citizens (MSC) at Margate Hotel in Margate last Wednesday.

He also encouraged the senior citizens to keep themselves fit and healthy.
MSC chairperson Sbonelo Khuzwayo said as a non-profit, the organisation is registered within the Department of Social Development.

He said MSC ensures that the elderly don’t just sit in their houses doing nothing the whole day, they are involved in some activities, where they keep themselves fit by playing different sports codes.
Senior citizens, stakeholders and sponsors were thanked for their involvement in ensuring the organisation keeps moving forward.
