Man shot in KwaNyuswa

The victim sustained gun shot wounds to the hip and arms.

Ezinqoleni police are investigating a case of attempted murder after a man was shot at KwaNyuswa in Mahlabathini recently.

Saps Ugu District Corporate Communication said a 35-year-old man was driving his colleague home to KwaNyuswa after work at about 20:00.

“It is alleged that as they were approaching the drop off point, a man out of a group of three men and a woman, began to open fire at the passenger side of the vehicle. The passenger sustained injuries to the hip and arms and was taken to a nearby hospital.”
