International pageant crown for Cynthia Dumakude

She earned the Ms Transcontinental 2026 title in the US recently.

Marketing Manager at the Wild Coast Sun, Cynthia Dumakude, was crowned Ms Transcontinental 2026 in the US recently.

Dumakude’s journey to the global stage began when she won the Mrs Bold title in 2024, a platform that amplified her passion for women’s empowerment and community upliftment.

Her victory not only celebrated her personal excellence but also showcased the quality, grace and leadership cultivated by the Mrs Bold platform.

Through this role, she led impactful initiatives including an Easter drive, school shoe drives, dignity packs, wheelchair donations, winter warmth campaigns and youth-focused empowerment programmes.

Now holding an international title, Dumakude continues to embody resilience, authenticity and leadership qualities that reflect the spirit of both Sun International and Wild Coast Sun.

From growing up in a rural village to earning an international crown, Dumakude’s journey is a powerful reminder that success comes from vision, discipline and perseverance.

As a single mother, her achievement resonates deeply with many South Africans, who see in her a symbol of hope, courage and possibility.

She says that this win is not just for her, but it’s for every woman who has ever doubted her strength.

“I’m honoured to represent Africa and to bring this story home to my Wild Coast Sun family.

Dumakude extends her gratitude to the leadership and colleagues at Sun International and Wild Coast Sun for their continued encouragement. She also thanks her community partners, sponsor and supporters who contributed to her growth and empowerment initiatives.

“My journey has taught me that our stories matter, not because they are perfect, but because they show what is possible when we refuse to give up. I hope my achievement reminds every woman, every young girl and every mother juggling life and responsibility that your dreams are still valid. This is only the beginning and I am committed to using my platform to uplift, empower and inspire wherever I go.”
