Honours for Port Shepstone karate students

They were awarded for their sterling efforts and commitment to the sport.

Port Shepstone Shotokan Karate Club held its year-end grading and championship awards recently.

Under the guidance of Shihan Frank Moodley, students were recognised for their sterling work and commitment.

Students excelled in local and international championships which included the Commonwealth Games in Durban and a tournament in Nambia.

Outstanding students are Neriah Peeriyalal, Ilhaam Amod, Sarah Sahli, Emir Sahli, Tyler Gous, Miguel Gous and Teighlon Fynn.

Moodley is proud of all his students and looks forward to the new year. The club will open on January 13.
