Desperate Ezinqoleni mother seeks missing son

He was last seen at the Margate Taxi Rank and Masinenge Informal Settlement.

An Ezinqoleni mother, Zodwa Thutshini, is desperately looking for her son, Vusi Cele (42), who has been missing since 2024.

So far, her search has been in vain.

“My son was last seen at the Margate Taxi Rank and Masinenge Informal Settlement, where he lived. I searched for him in these areas, but I got no information. I also opened a missing person’s case at Margate police station for investigation. I plead with the community to assist me to find him, even if it’s his remains,” said Thutshini.

Zodwa Thutshini appeals to the community to help her find her missing son, Vusi Cele.

All the heart-broken mother wants now is closure.

“My family searched everywhere for him, and we don’t know what to do anymore. We would appreciate getting his bones if he has died, wherever he is. My son has a slight mental disorder, but he was employed at one point,” said Thutshini.

If anyone has seen Cele or knows of his whereabouts, call his mother on 060 4350472, brother Phumlani Thutshini on 087 6961999, or sister Buhle Thutshini on 068 7793724.

Alternatively, contact the nearest police station.
