Rain wreaks havoc with cricket fixtures

Rain again had a say in a number of fixtures in the Southern KZN 30 Over Cup recently.

Despite this, there was some exciting cricket played with Gamalakhe Warriors notching up their second win of the season in Division 3 against the fancied Mustangs.

There were some one-sided games in Harding, in Division 1 and 2, with one of the highlights being a rapid half century from Bizana’s Saqib Hussain, batting at number 10.

All the games scheduled to be played at Southcity and Suid-Natal were abandoned.

Division 1
Kokstad Bombay beat Harding Cricket Club by 178 runs.
