Umkomaas police officers give back
The Uthingo Crisis Centre benefitted from donations.
The men and women in blue from Umkomaas handed over toiletries to the Uthingo Crisis Centre last week.
This was done as part of a social outreach and cohesion programme.
Police spokesperson Captain Ranjith Rampersad said that a partnership has been fostered with the crisis centre to promote partnership policing and victim empowerment.
The acting station commander, Lieutenant Colonel Mthembeni Zungu, thanked every officer for their contribution to this programme.
