Silent Book Club Ramsgate gathers for relaxed reading
Readers are invited to bring along their current book and enjoy a peaceful hour of shared reading in good company.
The Silent Book Club concept continues to grow locally, with the Ramsgate chapter forming part of a global movement that boasts thousands of chapters worldwide.
Ramsgate’s chapter is led by Charlene Becker, who described the most recent gathering as a lovely and relaxed occasion.
Members enjoyed sharing quiet reading time together and connecting over their shared love of books.
A special highlight of the meeting was the presence of local author Natasha van Graan, who generously shared her book, Wings Made of Scars, as well as her beautiful journal. She also offered attendees a glimpse into the novel she is currently writing. Members found it inspiring to hear about her writing journey.
The next Silent Book Club Ramsgate meeting will take place at the Whale Deck on Sunday, March 15 at 10:00.
