Join Mark Fish at coaching clinic

It's a chance to learn world-class football techniques and modern coaching methods.

The Mark Fish Foundation and Sonani Academy invite both football coaches and young players to join a special coaching clinic to be held at Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre in Gamalakhe, from May 4 -7, where Charlton Athletic Football Club will be hosted.

The club will visit with four Union of European Football Association A-licenced coaches.
Mark Fish played for Charlton Athletic from November 2000 to 2005 in Charlton, South-East London in England.

A veteran footballer, Fish, said that this special clinic is open to coaches, and players between the ages of six and 19-years-old.

“It’s a chance to learn world-class football techniques, modern coaching methods, and professional insights from internationally accredited experts,” he added.

The first 20 participants to register will attend free of charge. Thereafter, a registration fee of R500 per person will apply.

“The event will feature an U17 match between Ugu and Sonani Academy. This match will serve as a talent identification platform, where standout players may be selected for further development opportunities and receive direct coaching from the visiting international coaches,” said Fish.

Visiting coaches will also conduct a social outreach programme at Siphakamile Combined Primary School in Bhobhoyi.

To attend, send a WhatsApp to the PRO office on 084 9776205 to receive the official event poster and QR code for registration.”
