Bible students learn about church history

There are some exciting plans in the pipeline.

Alumni students in church ministry and Bible teaching attended a seminar organised by the Kind Christian Outreach Trust (KCOT) in Port Shepstone.

Participants came from as far as Cedarville and Kokstad last Saturday.

Main speaker Dr Pieter Boon, who travelled to the coast from Pretoria, presented a paper on the relevance of teaching church history. “Often valuable lessons can be learned from the past,” he said.

Douwe Drijfhout gave a presentation on the RSS Digital Library and Reverend Herman Swart gave more information about MTC activities in KZN and Eastern Cape.

All attendees received a certificate of attendance at the end of the day.

Means of furthering study in theology through distance learning were discussed. Plans are to offer graduate studies in the near future.

For more information WhatsApp KCOT on 084 5813809 or email admin@kcot.co.za.
