It has the potential to become a major event.
TEST you off-road skills at Paddock County Ford Fun Ride in Paddock this Sunday, November 15.
It’s a chance to ride with some of the area’s top competitors, but the focus will be on fun.
Do as many laps as you can before the specified cut-off time. There will be lucky draw prizes and food and drink on sale.
For more info, contact Angus Adie at 083 3014791 or email hillstream3@gmail.com.
“Wade Young will be there, as well as William Gillitt and Denzil Torlage. The main ride will be like a WFO type ride,” said Angus.
“Some people have asked me who set up the course, but they should know we will be catering for everyone and there will be routes around the harder sections,” he said.
“We’re hoping for a good turnout and anticipate that it could become a major event in the future.”
Registration is from 9am. The ride will start at 10am.
There are three categories: Experienced – about 25km, cost R200; Novice – about 10km, cost R100; Pee Wee – about 3km, cost R50.
To get there travel 10km inland from Port Shepstone on the N2 towards Harding.
Take the D412 to the right for 3,5km. Follow the signs.
