WINNERS of the Peg & Punter mixed trips played last Wednesday were Peter and Sariena Ziervögel, and Leigh Warner.
Runners-up were Vi Pells, Dave Hume and Ally Weir. Session went to Glen Allen, Estelle Carter and Andreas van der Linde, and the 50/50 board to Amy Körner.

HIBBERDENE
THE nominated mixed trips last Friday was washed out. It was then played the following Wednesday afternoon.
Eddie and Colleen Milne with Napier Verster were the winners. Runners-up were Danie Human, Bruce Hoyer and Bubbles Bezuidenhout.
Session prize went to Jan Oosthuizen, Chris Snyman and Helene Oosthuizen. Thanks to Hibberdene Pharmacy for the generous sponsorship.
Only seven ends were played due to the heavy rain.
Last Friday afternoon saw Ollie and Marie Coetzer with Tabie Jonker win the nominated mixed trips. Second place went to Danie and Annetjie Human with Cheryl Knight.
Session prize went to Maureen Jonker, Bruce Hoyer and Martin Rautenbach. Thanks to Re/Max for the sponsorship.
The Christmas party takes place tonight (26th) at 6pm. The next competition is the Harcourts Scott Bay mixed trips this Friday (27th).
MARGATE BC
DORA Vosloo and Helen Proctor won the Manaba Kwikspar women’s 2-4-2 last Friday from runners-up Pam Cole Cooke and Vi Pells.
Session went to Barbara Brook and Sandy Ferguson.
The annual ‘Toys for Joy’ fund-raising dinner/dance with a Mexican theme will take place this Saturday, November 28.
Tickets are no longer available but those who have booked are reminded to bring a soft toy for distribution to the underprivileged.
The draw for the club competitions will be posted on the notice boards shortly so please play the first rounds as soon as possible to get them off to a good start.

MARGATE CC
NEELS Boshoff, Graham Fisher, Hans Wijtman and Chris Faber won the Engel & Volkers men’s fours final competition for 2015.
Ken Tonge’s team was second, followed by Bill Brown’s team.
Winners on the annual ladder competition for 2015 were Barry Delvin, Rassie Erasmus, Jimmy Holtshausen and Charles Murgatroyed.
Runners-up, on a shot count, were Ken Tonge’s team, with third place going to Denzil Massyn’s team.
After bowls, the players enjoyed the platters of eats, sponsored by Engel & Volkers (Barry and Natalie Herbert).
Twelve teams have already confirmed their participation for next year.
MUNSTER
THE Indulgence mixed pairs were won by Piet Heunis and Rina Fourie, from Rita Zietsman and Anthony Card.
Second session went to Hedley and Lynn Meek, board to Sergio Ruperto.

PORT EDWARD
DUE to the much needed rain there was no tabs in on Wednesday but the social event boomed. Thank you to all the members and friends for supporting the club’s function.
There were delicious pancakes, fantastic prizes and lots of fun and games.
The next event is the Christmas lunch on December 16 at 1.30pm. Bookings essential and can be made with payment of R60 in advance to Lyn Walton.
Winners of the 7th Heaven mixed trips were Joe Ashworth, Roy McKenzie and Ann McAllister.
Runners-up were Gino Alilovic, Derick Wicks and Joey Anderson. Session went to George Snyman, Frank Foley and Mary Warner.

PORT SHEPSTONE
KENCRETE sponsored the club’s monthly business challenge last Friday. Whilst the weather made playing difficult this did not distract from the fun of the afternoon.
A field of 46 players took part and the winners were again the Bell Boys, skipped by Duncan Randall and supported by Renzo van Niekerk, Stan Perry and Kevin Mullen.
Runners-up were Curnow Insurance, skipped by Peter Maggs, and supported by Graham McGill, Rob Harley and Mervin Curnow.
In the league games played on Saturday in wet and very windy conditions the club had mixed results.
The men’s A side had a good win over Hibberdene at Hibberdene winning 5-0 making up for last week.
The men’s B side, playing against Margate CC at home managed another 3-2 win whilst the women, playing at AMBC were not so fortunate, losing 0-5 to the Bell and 2-3 to Port Edward.
RIVERSIDE
THE Food Lovers Market mixed 2-4-2 will take place this Friday (27th) morning.
Tabs in Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 1.30pm. KBA men’s and women’s Saturday League takes place this Saturday (28th), women in the morning, men in the afternoon.
SOUTHBROOM
BARRY Christie, Hein Bester and Bill Reed won the Tiago’s men’s trips last Tuesday. Runners-up were Brian Hughes, Alan Tyers and Ken Hills.
First session to Roy Robertson, Bill Parfitt and Doug Kent. Second session to Ivan Hosken, Norman Isherwood and Carl Volker. 50/50 Brent Addison.
The men’s Saturday League team won its match against Margate, playing in the wind, rain and cold.
Please remember for the next two Saturdays – November 28 and December 5 – to wear whites if you are playing tabs in as the Saturday League will be using two greens, and this is a KBA fixture.
A Christmas quiz evening has been organised for Friday, December 11, with Elaine Harrison as the quizmaster. Fish, potatoes and salad will be served.
The Christmas lunch is being organised for December 16.
SOUTHPORT
THE Dr D’Arcy men’s trips held last Thursday were won by Bez Bezuidenhout, Danie Human and Bruce Hoyer.
Runners-up were Mike King, Bob Maroney and Nellis Hattingh, while the second session prize went to Rynier van Tonder, Danie Rossouw and Richard Cochman.
The Harbour View SuperSpar sponsored women’s trips takes place this morning (26th). The Southport mixed trips will take place this Sunday (29th).
The Christmas function is on Saturday, December 5 at 3pm and will involve some bowls in civvies, but wearing a homemade hat. Thereafter a meal will be enjoyed in the clubhouse.
THE BELL
WINNERS of the Jaxx/Venture Inn open trips were Bez Bezuidenhout, Danie Human and Bruce Hoyer.
Runners-up were Barry Delvin, Keiron Dacey and Steve O’Moore. Second session went to Phil Myburgh, Roy Anderson and Murray Ross.
The Fruit and Veg City 2-4-2 was won by Maureen Head and Kevin Mullen, runners-up were Steve O’Moore and Sharolyn Dacey.
The session winners were Renzo van Niekerk and Pam Schutte. There will be a birthday tea on Wednesday, December 2.
The next sponsored competition is the mixed trips to be played this Friday (27th).
A list is on the board for all members, friends and relatives who wish to enjoy Christmas lunch on Sunday, December 13.
VILLAGE
THE draw for the nominated men’s and women’s championship pairs is up at the Boma.
Please check when you need to play – second round this week, finals to be completed by December 12.
The men will be playing league at the Village on the next few Saturday afternoons, so only four rinks available for social bowls.
If you don’t wish to play then come and support the teams.
The KBA diaries are available from Hazel at R20 and she is also collecting R60 for the KBA 300 Club.
Don’t forget the Boma Branch for ‘get-togethers’ on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4pm till 6pm.
There will be no sponsored competitions at the club until further notice.
