Bike riders score a try for Genesis
The ride was dedicated to the memory of the late South Coast biker, Jonathan Hansen.
NO cops, no speed limits and challenging terrain, the Genesis off-road event last week Saturday was an incredible amount of fun.
Bikers from across KwaZulu-Natal participated in this fund-raiser for the Vikings Christian Rugby Academy which falls under the umbrella of the Genesis Trust. The ride was also in memory of the late Jonathan Harry Hansen who was a popular local rider. The bikers rode with his special number CF 4 stuck on their helmets. The ride followed a 20 kilometre route through various farmlands and was suited to ‘intermediates’.
The only ‘winners’ were from lucky draws and there were lots to go around. The raffles were won by Liam Moschides and Dolan van der Poll.

South Coasters wish defending champion Wade Young of Paddock and local riders Kyle Flanagan, Bronson Louw, Tristan Robins, Chayse Orsmond, Stuart Gregory and Ryan Pretorius all the best for the Roof of Africa which gets under way in the Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho today (Wednesday, December 2). The event is considered to be one of the toughest off-road endurance events in the world.
