ANEES Jantjies of Shito-Ryu South Coast has achieved his junior black belt – this after a number of years of hard training, dedication and commitment.
He started karate at the age of four. He trained for nine years to achieve his current status.
Anees has also obtained his KwaZulu-Natal colours (all styles) in kumite twice, and has also twice represented KZN at South African All Styles tournaments.
His brother Laiq, who also obtained his KZN colours and a black belt in Shito-Ryu, flew up from Cape Town where he is studying to attend this grading.
Their parents, Harold and Feza Jantjies played a vital role in providing the support their sons needed to achieve their success.
