Featuring sleek styling, a host of high-tech features including daytime running lights, a spacious interior, flexible seating and generous boot space, the ASX is available in both a five-speed manual and a six-speed CVT transmission.
The ASX’s 2.0-litre powerhouse engine uses a lightweight aluminium block for optimum performance while MIVEC (Mitsubishi innovative valve timing electronic control system) technology provides optimal valve timing at both low and high rev ranges for more responsive driving.
The 1998cc, four-cylinder multi-point fuel injection engine produces 110kW of power at 6000rpm and 197Nm of torque at 4200rpm.
This new generation engine provides fuel economy of just 7.5 litres per 100km.
With a 63-litre tank capacity, this fuel efficiency translates into more than 800km of travel on a single tank.
The boot space (normally 442 litres) can easily be transformed into an enormous 1193 litres by folding the seats forward.
The multi-function steering wheel gives you complete control over the built-in Bluetooth and voice recognition systems as well as cruise control.
The ASX’s keyless operating system comes with a unique smart key that works within a 70 cm radius of the vehicle, so you can unlock doors (and even start the engine) with the touch of a button.
The large multi-information display keeps you informed about fuel levels and consumption, trip and total distance, average speed, outside temperature and service indicator.
Stylish and practical, daytime running lamps are standard across the ASX range. These chrome-ringed lights are fitted along with the front fog lamps and guide you safely through thick fog.
