Drift Expo planned for Wild Coast Sun

Jot this date down in your diary now.

THE Wild Coast Sun is preparing to host its next Drift Expo at its purpose built drift track on Saturday, March 5 this year.

It may feel like a long wait, but the weeks tend to blur past, so petrol heads have been given fair warning.

It’s a great chance for exhibitors, promoters and advertisers.

The event is expected to attract media attention from Ignition TV, GAS Magazine, social media bloggers and of course, local print media.

A similar event was held in August last year and proved to be a resounding success.

It followed shortly after an event at Dezzi South Coast Raceway in Olso Beach.

Here’s a quote from an article in Gas Magazine, to whet your appetite: “With people just getting over the hype and excitement of The Gas Motorshow at Dezzi, this is exactly what KZN needed to keep the adrenaline junkies fuelled up for more action. Some of the highlights were full circuit drifting, sound off, car show ‘n shine and the ‘suicide rides’, which kept the crowds pumped up with the thrills of being in a drift car.”
