BLUE Ocean Aquatics supported the Aquazone Summer Championship gala in Hillcrest last weekend.
Local swimmers Ricardo Carthew, Nelzaan Strydom, Gemma Allchin, Jade Clifton and Trinity and Shayden Gouveia were among those who enjoyed swimming in the brand new Curro High School pool.
It was a lovely day with great swimming and numerous medals won.
Ricardo won a gold medal in the 50m breaststroke, silver medals in the 100m individual medley (IM) and 50m backstroke, and bronze medals in the 50m freestyle and 50m butterfly races.
Shayden won silver medals in the 50m freestyle and 100m IM, and bronze medals in the 50m backstroke and butterfly races.
Gemma Allchin and Trinity Gouveia won bronze medals in the 25m butterfly.
Blue Ocean Aquatics will be hosting its annual splash gala at Creston College on Saturday, February 27.
