THE weather was perfect for the early Valentine’s Day round robin at Southbroom Tennis Club last Sunday.
Organiser Ron Stirling gave each woman a small hamper of goodies on arrival. He also provided tea and cakes.
Zinnia Freitas ended up the overall winner, with a tie for second shared by Pauline Lee and Nicky Momberg. Pippa Bromley-Gans was fourth.
Club members thanked the many home and business owners in Southbroom for their generous donations towards the club’s project to resurface two of the courts.
