Karateka look forward to South African karate tournament.

KARATE students from the Ugu region took part in the WKF karate KwaZulu-Natal all styles trials held at Tongaat recently.

These trials were for elite karate students, brown and black belt from seven years to veterans. A number of students achieved KZN colours. They include Mahish Panday kumite silver medal, Jehryn Moonsamy kumite bronze, Amaarah Ebrahim gold kumite, Tyler Hogan bronze kata and Lutfiyya Mahomed received a kumite silver medal

These students will compete at the Karate South African, All Styles (KSA) tournament which will be held at the University of KwaZulu-Natal this Friday, March 18. Sensei Frank Moodley wished all students everything of the best for the tournament.
