More top awards roll in for Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach
The dealership has much to be proud of.
THERE have been a lot of good things happening for the team at Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach in recent times.
For a start, the dealership was placed first in the Large Dealership category (for the fourth time) at the latest company awards, held at Kyalami Theatre on the Track in Johannesburg recently.
“This is a national award and covers all aspects of the business, so this was very pleasing,” said dealer principal Brian Jones.
It showed that the dealership has been consistently successful over many years.
“We excelled in all departments, everyone played a part,” said Mr Jones.
“Our staff is great, and we have received fantastic support from customers and friends over the years. Plus we have a top franchise,” he added.
The award was also a solid follow-up to the Toyota Dealer of the Year Award for 2014, something akin to winning a World Cup!
The dealership was also voted as Best Car Dealer in the South Coast Herald’s Best of South Coast Readers’ Choice Awards for 2015.
In addition to the Large Dealership award, four Pyramid of Excellence awards were received for various departments.
The dealership also received a 40-year franchise certificate, something Mr Jones was particularly proud of.
“It’s not often something like this happens,” he said,
Toyota and the Jones family have played an integral part in the motoring industry on the South Coast over the past four decades.
In fact, a third generation of Joneses is now involved in the business.
The company has also been extremely generous in terms of providing sponsorship for local sport, like the squash league, Port Shepstone High first team rugby, and numerous golf tournaments, to mention just a few.
