Junior MTB riders hone their skills at Burry Stander track
This event was introduced to teach schoolchildren to advance their cycling skills.
THE Burry Stander South Coast School Mountain Bike Series, which was launched on February 19, took place once again last Friday.
Mandie Stander said that this event was introduced to teach schoolchildren to advance their cycling skills.
“The park is the perfect place to learn as there are many different areas to hone your skills within the park,” she explained.
“Our series is a simple formula where everyone is allowed a chance to practise and participate in this initiative that consists of eight rounds from February to September.” Schoolchildren wanting to join in the next series on Friday, May 20, can contact Mandie at 079 4937499.
