WHAT a wonderful afternoon members and visitors enjoyed at Umtentweni Tennis Club last Saturday, with clear blue skies and autumnal weather.
Members were pleased to share the courts with visitors Rod Hackland, Helgard du Preez and Anton Heinman.
Dan Dimitriu did a good job organising sets and thanks to him and Raj Naganna for providing tea, cake and chilli bites.
Lynne Rorich was back on court and seeing the ball very clearly. Trish Wood is wished a quick recovery from ‘flu and Mary Wood from her stubbed toe.
Former member Val Beckett was recently in hospital and members wish her a full recovery; another former member and frequent visitor, Jean Backhouse, flew to Scotland last week and will return in October.
Jean and Louis Marx are wished a happy breakaway up the coast doing some birding and fishing.
Trish Wood is on duty on April 16 and Chloe Dutton on April 23.
