Good week for ‘G Fab’
The superb scores reflected the excellent condition of the course.
GRAHAM Fabricius, nicknamed ‘G Fab’, and Nick Wattrus won the betterball Stableford comp at Port Shepstone Country Club last Wednesday.
They scored 45 points to pip Dave Milne and Bonita Roos by one point.
It was time for the Auto Exec monthly mug last Saturday.
Club matchplay champion Graham Fabricius showed again that he is almost untouchable around his home course.
He had a gross 68 off his scratch handicap to win the day.
Veteran lefty Phil Myburgh won the A division on nett 71, counting out Willem Lindeque.
Paul Bunge won the B division on nett 71, counting out Yugeshan Naidoo.
Peter Lera won the C division on nett 69, by four from Louis Klopper.
The individual Stableford saw Markus Geyser take first spot on 38 points, by three from Bonita Roos.
The Izotsha Primary golf day is set to take place this Saturday (12th).
