CANDIDA Amm and Jenny Westray won the comp at Southbroom Golf Club last Wednesday, scoring a stunning 49 points.
Runners-up were Irene Schanda and Kate Currin on 44 points, with Mari Fielden and Margie Sherratt in third on 43 points.
In the men’s comp Roger Hissey and John Lloyd had 47 points and counted out Joe Carolan and Gerald Fitzgerald, as well as Roel Germs and Barclay Shearer.
Saturday’s comp saw Geraldine Treherne, Shelley Myers and Irene Schanda clean up on 80 points, followed by Lorraine Cook, Di Morris and Sandy Fitzgerald on 79 points.
The men’s alliance was won on 94 points by Brian Richards, Mike Slade, Cleve Walker and Xavier Pollet.
Runners-up, counted out, were Gordon Moody, Kerry Fielden, Brian Hoggart and George Wright.
In third on 93 points were Osie Osborne, Malcolm Moorley, Tony Holness and Murray Theunissen.
