From the Bowling Greens: Umtentweni
In the club’s 'Battle of the Sexes', the men won the competition by a small margin, but the women have sworn revenge for next year!
BEZ Bezuidenhout and Bruce Hoyer won the South Coast Herald men’s pairs from Tony Korb and Dumisani Madlala. Barry Delvin and Geoff Barbour took the session prize.
In the club’s ‘Battle of the Sexes’, the men won the competition by a small margin, but the women have sworn revenge for next year!
Keith Mills, Tammy Gibbons and Daphne Hounsell won the Schooners mixed trips from George Coromanski, Werner Mody and Dee Marsh. Steve Doran, Tony Aveyard and Kathleen Simpson took the session prize. This was the last game at the club which is now shut for annual green renovation and general maintenance and hopefully will be ready for reopening at the end of December. The entertainment committee will lay on some amusement during the shutdown period of which due notice will be given.
Congratulations to Pauline Howle who won the liquor hamper raffle.
