Sheppie golfers give of their best
There was some interesting weather to contend with last week.
WEDNESDAY’s combined Stableford, played under sunny skies, suited Phil Myburg and Greg Hornby who came in with 74 points to win the competition, six ahead of Johan van Niekerk and Bonita Roos.
Friday turned on showers for the People’s Choice Business Day but Daryl D’Arcy, Graeme Milligan, Ryan Ringo and ‘ghost’ rode out the storm carding 93 points to win.
Struan Robertson, Guy Clarke, Gavin Maitre and Brian Whitfield were second on 92 followed by Rob Piers, Jimmy Parsons, Charles and Jenny Hulley with 89 points.
The Izotsha Primary golf day was won by Willem Lindeque and Justin Killian on 47 points. Dave Mee and Barry Oehme were second on 46 oco from Johan Neethling and Dave Higgins.
Members are reminded that this Saturday’s competition will be IPS played in divisions.
