Long-limbed guest provides a challenge
Some serious heat made the shade a good option.
SUMMER hit us with a vengeance at Umtentweni Tennis Club last week Saturday and everyone was pleased to sit off now and then in order to cool down a bit.
Elena Whateley has mastered the art of making sandwiches and these were enjoyed along with the cakes she provided. Hope you’ll be able to cope with next Saturday as well, Ellie – thanks for swapping duties so willingly.
Kylan Guest continues to visit us and his long arms and legs makes it difficult to get shots past him.
The men outnumbered the women by about two to one so there were lots of competitive men’s sets on the go.
It was also great to have Justin Hinchliff back and we hope to see him more often.
Upcountry visitors to the coast are very welcome to join members on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons – there seem to be so many GP cars down here already.
