Riders prepare for Roof of Africa
The race is one of the most treacherous and demanding of hard enduro racing routes in the world.
THIS year’s Roof of Africa Hard Enduro race in Lesotho takes place this coming weekend, over 425km of seriously harsh terrain.
A bunch of local riders will be hoping for big things, none more so than past champion Wade Young of Paddock.
The Sherco rider, who was injured at Sea to Sky, is working hard to recover in time.
His stablemate Kyle Flanagan is ‘absolutely flying’ at the moment and could very well place this year.
KTM’s Scott Bouverie of Harding has had a great year and enjoys the Roof.
Other riders with South Coast connections who are riding include Blake Gutzeit (whose older brother Jade has won it before), Stuart Gregory and Chayse Orsmond.
An exciting announcement this year is the addition of a new title sponsor Motul.
