THERE was a great turnout and buzz at the annual Beekman Classic, played at Port Shepstone Country Club last week Saturday.
With Wednesday’s comp rained out, there was some concern Saturday may be miserable too, but that wasn’t the case.
Rischan Pillay and Gary Vogt teamed up to record 52 points and win by three from Hans and Marietjie Stols.
A point further behind were Charles Hulley and Dalene Steyn.
While the golf was fun, the vibe in the pub was even better, and the party went on long into the evening.
