A development bowls day took place at Margate Bowling Club last week Sunday.
BOWLS may perhaps have built a reputation as being a game for ‘older folk’ but the reality is that that is not always the case.
Most clubs on the coast try to attract new, younger members.

One of these was Margate Bowling Club, one of the bigger clubs (if not biggest) on the South Coast.
It recently held what it called a development day to allow newcomers to try out a sport that looks easy but isn’t necessarily so!
