Good ‘Knight’ for football champs at Astro Arena
Competition for top place was fierce.
THE popular Hafez Adeel Moosa league ended recently, with the Knights Rangers being crowned champions.
Games were played at the Albersville Astro Arena.
The competition was fierce with top teams still fighting it out for the trophy, right up until the final week. And this after a four-month battle!
The Knights Rangers bagged the silverware, but were pushed hard by nights People of the South in second place and Dentcentre in third.
Team Bargains, after a slow start, made an impressive push in round two, while team Goldenglo remained resilient to the end, despite not obtaining the results they may have desired.
