Big year ahead for pool players
It's a tribute to the growth of the game in this region that it will get to host the national champs later this year.

THE Hibiscus Coast Pool Association (HCPA) was revived in 2014, although most of the existing players have been playing pool since the inception of a competitive league in the year 1993, hosted at the Taj Hotel.
Ever since 1993 there have been local players representing the province at national events.
Many have achieved their personal bests and reached some great heights.
HCPA has progressed now into its third year and in these three years has consistently sent teams to take part in the South African National Championships.
These have included men, women and juniors, all representing the Ugu region.
HCPA League has a full calendar for this year.
There are at least 32 players registered for this season already and numbers are still growing.
One of the highlights is that for this year, the region will host the South African National Championships on behalf of KZN.
Players interested in joining the HCPA League can contact chairman Kuben Govender at 084 2573486 or PRO Charlie Madaraviran.
Sponsorship towards development of pool in the region is always welcome.
