Due to rain the Tops Port Edward men’s pairs has been postponed and will now be played on February 19.

DANIE and Annetjie Human teamed up with Lorraine van Heerden to win the Tiago’s Open Flame nominated mixed trips last Friday.
Second place went to Jan and Joey Venter, with Napier Verster.
Session prize was won by Jan (Poppie) and Helene (Mommie) Oosthuizen, with Werner Mody.
At the moment Hibberdene men’s fours are leading in the Saturday League with two more games to be played.

CONGRATS to Ellen Cawker and Pam Cole-Cook who have been selected to play in the SA Ladies’ Senior Masters’ Bowls Tournament to be played in Johannesburg this weekend.
The Crayfish Inn comp winners were Georgie McKechnie, Bruno Lolli and Alison Dinning.
Halfway Toyota men’s 2-4-2 winners were Andrea Blignaut and Louis Fouché.

NEXT outing will be at Margate Bowling Club this Sunday (12th) at 8.30am for 9am.

MARIANNE van Buuren and Leoni Booth represented the club at the Quadrangular this past weekend.
They enjoyed the wonderful time and already motivated more men and women to practise to also take part next time.
This Friday (10th) is ‘Affair of the Heart’ at 4.30pm.
It’s going to be filled with awesome fun, games and prizes, and dinner for those who booked.

UPCOMING events are the South Coast Herald 2-4-2 to be held today (9th), and the two-bowl trips this Friday (10th) at 3.30pm, followed by a bring and braai.
The Dr D’Arcy men’s trips will be held next Thursday (16th).
Valentine’s Day social evening will be held next Wednesday (15th) after bowls. Members are requested to bring a plate of eats to share.

THE recent Warwick Wealth Day was a great success and enjoyed by all.
It was won by Dumisani Madlala, Annette Suther and Hazel Lough, from runners-up Geoff Barbour, Val Bedecker and Tony Aveyard, with Peter Clark, Maddie Linten and Jack Mok in third place.
Next event is the South Coast Herald men’s pairs this Friday (10th), followed by Schooners Restaurant mixed trips on Monday (13th) and Wimpy women’s pairs next Thursday (16th).
VILLAGE
IN-HOUSE Food Lover’s Market drawn mixed trips was won by Alan Tyers, Leon Hampton and Chris Allen.
They were followed by Bill Parfitt, Dawn Ingle and Kathy Hall on a count-out from Derrick Shell, Nelia Reed and Ken Habben and from Hans Hugo, Orrill Day and Winston van Greune.
