WEEK 18 of the Carriera/Curlewis Cup was won by Johann Erasmus on 39 points last Thursday.

He counted out Doug Johnston. Shannon Gottleib was next on 38 points. Nearest the pins were won by Jane Davies (2nd) and Mike Lee (16th).

The Sages Cansa fundraising day last Saturday saw some great golf, with Graeme Massom and Mike Lee returning 48 points to count out Pierre Malherbe and Peter Hunter.

Third spot went to Harold and Wilna Olkers on 46 points. Nearest the pins were struck by Graeme Massom (2nd) and Johann Erasmus (11th).

Chiappini Boshoff, Margaret Taylor and Hannetjie Pretorius won the women’s aliance at Margate Country Club last Tuesday, on 76 points.

The Wobblers’ alliance was won on 85 points by Ken Norval, Jan Richter and Otto Mutschler.

Runners-up were Freddie Boshoff, Piet Pretorius and Carl Zurfluh on 84 points.

Third place went to Hans Dallinger, Brian Jeffreys and André Henn on 82 points.

Arthur Tomlinson Floater went to Rob Brien, Hans Beilhartz and Nico van Vuuren on 69 points.
