WINNERS of the Port Edward SuperSpar two-bowl mixed trips played last Wednesday were Joe Ashworth, John Keppler and Leoni Booth.
Runners-up were Brian and Pam Cole-Cook and Vi Pells, and second session went to Dan Delaney, Leone Bloem and Ken Simm. The 50/50 board was won by Rob Lyle.

Final sponsored competition for the season is the Golden Moon Spur and Peter Bennett 2-4-2 mixed pairs next Wednesday (23rd).
The Lower South Coast 2-4-2 mixed pairs will take place from August 28 to September 1, with Banners Rest Bowling Club one of the five venues to host this tournament.
HIBBERDENE
THE Hibberdene Pharmacy mixed trips played last Friday was won by Paul Grutter, Louise Snyman and Louis Gerber.
Second prize went to Jan Venter, John Hoyer and Estelle Quinn.
Session prize went to Marie Coetzer, Dennis ‘The Menace’ Lewis, and Glenda Verster.
Next competition, to be played this Friday (18th), is sponsored by Suzuki South Coast.
MARGATE BC
SOCIAL bowls is played every Sunday morning from 9am. Dress is casual, bowls and assistance provided.
There’s also a bring and braai this Sunday.

Second prize went to Clive Edmundson, Peter Griffiths and Johan Cooper.
The two session prizes were won by Dennis Rehbock, Peter McCarthy and Martiens Olivier and Jo Olivier, Peta Egerton and Mike Green.
Engel & Volkers men’s fours league this Friday (18th).
The green will be closed for treatment from August 28.

The AGM was held recently, with a new committee celebration sundowner this Friday (18th) at 4pm.

ANN Barkway and Richard Cochman won the South Coast Herald mixed 2-4-2 last week.
Runners up were Tom Semple and Judy Hové, with session prize going to Mike King and Nellie Davies.
The D’Arcy men’s trips will be played today (17th).

BOB Moroney, Nellie Davies and Peter Anderson won the Schooner’s mixed trips from runners-up Tony Korb, Peter Marsh and Karen Delaney.

Supper at the club this Friday (18th). Hyundai drawn mixed trips is this Saturday (19th), with tabs in by 1.15pm.
