Strini Moodley Junior soccer contest title goes to PSSP
This school has won twice in the last three years.
PORT Shepstone Senior Primary won the Strini Moodley Junior Soccer Tournament 2017 on penalties against Port Shepstone Primary last Saturday. The school has won twice in the last three years.
This was the eighth edition of the tournament and was by far the most keenly contested and competitive one. Both semi-finals went to penalties as well.

In the first semi-final, Izotsha Primary lost to eventual winners, Port Shepstone Senior Primary. Izotsha Primary unfortunately missed some glorious chances to reach their first final, since joining the tournament three years ago. In the second semi-final Port Shepstone Primary beat Merlewood Primary on penalties.
This was another keenly contested match. The final went into extra time and eventually penalties, as nothing could separate the two teams, who were tied at full time.
Port Shepstone Senior Primary won the penalty shootout convincingly with their goalkeeper Dylan de Villiers saving three penalties. Dylan was named Man of the Match in the final. The family of Strini Moodley would like to thank everyone who contributed to another successful tournament.
