Their hard work has been rewarded.

Members from Saiki Dojo in Ramsgate took part in the annual South Africa Japan Karate Association, KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Championships in Hillcrest last Saturday.

The day started with the senior men and women elite competitors and thereafter the veterans’ and masters’ elite.

The juniors then took the floor, where the dojo’s youngest competitor took part. The day carried on all the way up to black belts and ended in some epic fights.
