Old ‘n young mean business at Sheppie
It's the Shelly Beach Rotary Golf Day this Saturday (17th).
IT was Beekman Business Day at Port Shepstone Country Club last Friday.
Winners were stalwarts Beryl Olden, Yzelle Greyling and Cilla Lindsay, complemented by the talented young Kim Strauss on 93 points.
Runners-up were Abel Yeeranna, Darshan Pather, Navs Moodley and Santhos Baskali on 91 points, counting out Louw and Johann Erasmus, Dries and Naudé Barkhuizen.
The previous Wednesday’s competition was won by Leon Reeders on +6, on a countout from Stuart Betts. Charles Hulley was third on +5.
Last Saturday’s Stableford was won on 38 points by John Beekman, on a countout from Paul Geoffery with Louis Klopper one point behind.
